Eezy Kauppa

Role: UX Designer (2019-2020)
Eezy Kauppa is a set of two apps to make grocery store staff leasing easy and flexible for both employees and employers. It operates in over 100 municipalities in Finland and over 100 000 shifts have been completed through it. At Taiste I worked as a designer to improve the app user experience with a host of new features and improved visuals in co-operation with the client.

My job was to re-design the two apps with many new features to make the user experience more robust. That included adding several new sections, creating a logical way to navigate the app, designing a customer service chat and so on. When adding new features to an app, it’s always important to make sure the experience as a whole remains fluid and simple.

Employer app
Employer can easily create new work shifts through the app and hire suitable workers for them. The added shifts will be visible for the workers in the area through their own app. For the employer app I designed a number of new features and improvements with Eezy’s team. I also improved the visual design of the app.

Employee app
The app shows new shifts in the area and the user can browse through them. Accepting shifts is really simple and fast. The user can also manage work calendar, see upcoming and past shifts, chat with customer support and so on. I redesigned the app with Eezy’s team to include many new features, tweaks and an improved visual language.

New versions of the app were designed and developed at Taiste in close co-operation with the client and their own team.
